Welcome to my beach. Well technically it’s not mine, but if I could choose a beach, this would be it. I have travelled to a few places in my time and have seen many beaches, but this is by far one of my favourites. Negril beach in Jamaica. A 7 mile beach with clear blue beautiful sea. The sea is so clear and the sand is so clean that you can see the sea life clearly in its glory. I spent a lot of time here on my recent holiday. It was great for just clearing my head and relaxing. The water is warm too. Loved every minute.
I hope you enjoy it as much me.
River Island peplum pencil dress | Aldo nude pumps
Its been a while…
I wore this outfit one nice warm evening. It’s a fitted dress with a combination of a leather look material. Its nice and easy to wear and you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. Slap on the right makeup and jewellery and you have a lovely look. I love a pencil dress or skirt as it produces a nice silhouette which accentuates the curves in the right places.
Its been a while since I posted due to various reasons. One being that I travelled, then on my return I caught the flu a few times and was completely knocked out. But I’m back now and I must say I have missed you and my blog. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New year – I know it was ages ago :-). Its hard to believe that we are fast approaching the end of January already….
This is a smokey eye that I tried using the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. This palette has more cooler tones like silvers and shimmery neutrals when compared with the original Naked palette.c
To create this look:
Above crease: Tease
Outer v: Blackout
Inner eye: Verve
Lashes: Ardell Demi WispiesWhat do you think of this look?
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed this post and look forward to seeing you in the next one.
I have never claimed to be a makeup artist, but I do enjoy makeup. So I guess I’m more of a makeup enthusiast!
So this is how I did my eye makeup the other day, using my Urban Decay Naked 3 eyeshadow palette. I wasn’t sure about this palette at first. I wondered if these colours would compliment my skin tone, but I must say, I’m quite loving it. I have never really worn pink shades before, but if you put the right colours together and create a smokey eye, you get quite a nice bright finish… 🙂
I wore this look during the day at the weekend. I wanted an understated, but made up look.
Recreate the look:
Naked 3 colours
Eyelid – Buzz
Outer V – Black heart
Transition colour – Factory
Eye brow highlight – Dust
Liquid eyeliner – Dior
Mascara – Estee Lauder, Sumptuous Extreme Lash multiplying, black
Lips – Jubilee by Mac
What do you think of the Naked 3 palette?
The most important thing is to blend, blend and blend some more, so the colours appear to seamlessly merge into each other.
Makeup is fun, something to be enjoyed and we can all experiment. Mistakes may happen, but the key is to just try again…
Till next time….
*This palette was bought with my own money.
